Sunnyside Crags

Sunnyside is a nice crag to hone your trad skills with a very short approach. Although there are more difficult lines here, this area is mostly popular for its moderate lines. Unfortunately, the dimensions of Icebox Canyon limit the best season of the crag, as it is mostly sunny in the summer and mostly shady in the winter. The best routes include Magellanic Cloud and Cold September Corner.

Located on the right side of the canyon, approximately 100 meters past Frigid Air Buttress. Resist the temptation to enter crag early through dense vegetation. Stay on the main hiking trail until you spot a dark rectangular face with noticeable chalk marks right next to the trail. An easily identifiable path leads to the start of Mister Masters.
