Description

P1: Option A; Upper Ledge Start (decreases risk of decking on the ledge by minimizing rope stretch)- Pull up red fixed line 3m to a 2 bolt belay on ledge. Second can be belayed up to the ledge if desired. Option B; Direct Start - Start the climb from the ground, one bolt added to protect this section.

Climb the steep and obvious layback crack feature above the ledge. First crux of the route is a boulder problem right off the ledge, climbing eases after the third bolt. Pull through a short overhang (second lesser crux) to enjoyable face climbing above. A final tricky finger lock move brings you to the belay ledge (2 bolts with rings). (10d)

P2: Start on right side of belay and climb up to the overhanging wall. Pull your way through the crux (after bolt 3) up the face to the ramp feature above. Follow the ramp to the right and top out at the viewpoint (2 bolts with rings). (10c)

2x 30m rappels back to the ground

Follow the trail past lower climbs until you see the obvious crack feature above and red fixed line leading to the belay ledge.

P1: 12 bolts P2: 9 bolts
