Description
[Edit]This summit is erroneously listed on MP as a cl.4 point, but the butte's ridgeline doesn't have any moves more difficult than class three. There are several other limestone canyon summits that exhibit more exposure than Sumner Butte, e.g. Cheops Plateau. For the benefit of the doubt, perhaps the incorrect description is written taking the Redwall gap in mind, but that approach route could also subjectively be rated at only class three. Regardless, it's a fun scramble across the mostly undulating ridgeline.
