Description
[Edit]Bulo Point is a great place for beginners since most of the routes can be toproped. There are many fun leads as well, over 15 routes with a couple overhangs, mostly in the 5.6 to 5.10 range. There are also many great boulder problems in the area, check out the old Portland bouldering guide
Getting there
The last mile to Bulo Point is on an unpaved forest service road. As of 2023 it's passable in a passenger car. Check with local climbers for road and snow conditions before heading out.

- From Highway 35 go to Waypoint 2 (NF-44 to Dufur valley rd, then turn right to NF-4420/Cold Spring rd)
- The road veers left at this point. Do not follow it. Reset your car odometer and continue straight on the dirt road for 1 mile.
- Drive pass a car pullout on the left at around 0.9 mile. Continue for another 100 yards to a couple pullouts on both sides of the road. Walk left (under 1 minute) to the top of Bulo point.
