Description
[Edit]The Okanagan area consists of all areas around Lake Okanagan, the easiest access being via Kelowna. This is a large lake and a larger area with a drier climate than Squamish on the coast, or areas in the rockies which receive a lot of snow. It has been referred to as "the Florida of Canada".
Climbing in this area is ample and is highlighted by Skaha and Kelowna for sport climbers and boulderers, but there are many more areas to climb at and enjoy.
