Description
[Edit]One of the world's top bouldering destinations. Buttermilk's most prominent hillside is stacked with classic climbs of just about any grade you could possibly want to climb. Its boulders are highly concentrated and accessible. The main parking area is at the northwest end near the Birthday Boulders and the area ends at the iconic Peabody Boulders.
From Bishop, take Line Street/CA-168 west out of town for 7.3 miles then turn right onto Buttermilk Road. Drive 3.4 miles down Buttermilk Road to get to the main parking area.
