Description
A crimpy classic, if a bit contrived. Start seated with your right hand on a low, sharp, right facing notch sidepull and left hand higher on a rounded crimp. Make strenuous moves through more small crimps, reach a slighly better flat crimp, then find your way to the flat jug directly above you.
Do NOT use the slanting rail of Summer Vacation until it flattens out at the top - this is the contrived part of the climb and using the rail makes the problem a couple grades easier. Very cool climb nonetheless.
Location
On the left side of the tall overhung face on the Black Dyke Boulder, along the main trail through Grand Wall.
Protection
2-3 pads
