Description

[Edit]

Lost Ledges is a great sandstone climbing area with many fun boulders! Please do not climb the sandstone for 2-3 days after it rains as this is a heavily wooded area and sandstone breaks when wet. As such, this area is best accessed in the summer, or on either side if you get lucky!

To get to Lost Ledge drive up Cleator Road until the end where there is a sizable parking lot. It is typically easy to find a spot at the top. Take the Rock Trail from the south end of the parking lot which will switch back downhill via several sets of stairs.

The upper area of Lost Ledge has a few fun problems which can be accessed heading due north on a faint trail from a switchback at about 48.655357, -122.460563. However, most problems are accessed by going down the staircase at this switchback and taking a different trail north to the boulders slightly lower.
