Description

[Edit]

A lovely area off Index Galena Road with several high quality boulders. Parking can be found at: 47.827855, -121.515445

This area requires a river crossing and is only accessible via Index Galena Road during the summer and sometimes early fall months. Exercise caution when crossing and do not attempt to cross if the river is too high. Typically, the season for Sasquatch is from July - September but in a high water year this can be reduced. Make smart choices.

To access the boulders, cross the river (if safe) then walk down the wash with large logs at the entrance. A few minutes down the wash there will be a trail on your right heading into the forest. It is sometimes difficult to find so keep your eyes open! Once you have found the trail you will head straight back into the forest for 5-10 minutes until you come across the first boulder, the Flying Honey Badger boulder.
