Lower Looner Land

Easy approach and lots of short easy Rhyolite climbs. Bolts can sometimes be spaced a bit far apart though.

Heading East from Superior, take a right at the signs for Oak Flat Campground a few minutes past the tunnel. Follow Magma Mine Road until it ends in a gate. Park at the pullout on the left of the road and follow the trail for a few minutes until it joins the old gravel road. Follow the gravel road left going downhill until you reach a wash that crosses the road. Follow the wash for a couple more minutes until you are at the base of Lower Looner Land. Less than 10 minutes from the parking to the base of Lower Looner.
