Phun Rock and Nearby Crags

Phun Rock and nearby areas are a great set of crags with lots of easy to moderate climbs and short approaches. A handful of tougher climbs too. It is family friendly and there are both sunny and shady areas, but it can get crowded as it is super accessible.

To get to Phun Rock areas you can either just plug "Fun Rock" into google and look for the location just off Lost River Road, or from the Mazama General Store you can drive NW for 1.6 miles and then take a right turn in to the parking lot.

The parking lot is on private property owned by Outward Bound school, who have graciously allowed climbers to park there to access these great crags. Please be respectful by following marked trails and stairs, practicing Leave No Trace principles and not camping in the lot to ensure that this great area remain accessible to everyone!
