Lake Tahoe

A mecca of bouldering and trad in the Lake Tahoe Valley, a huge area in the Sierra Nevada range. There is also some decent sport climbing. The area is generally higher elevation between 6000 and 9000 ft, so is under snow for a lot of the year. It has a great spring/summer/fall season depending on which crag you visit, though also has a handful of areas accessible in the winter.
