Goliath Boulder, The

A cool one-off boulder, Goliath Boulder can be worth a visit if weather or smoke is preventing you from climbing elsewhere or if you're in the area! It has a wide range of difficulties and the rock climbs pretty well.

To get there, park along Heart Lake Road in Anacortes at approximately 48.451832, -122.633191. This is ~0.2 miles north of Lake Erie Coffee & Mercantile and Lake Erie Campground. Take a trail walking east into the forest (don't cross the fence onto private property). After a couple minutes you'll take a left off the main trail to cut beneath some power lines and the boulder will be tall and right in front of you through the trees. Whole approach is probably 5 minutes.
