Oak Flat

Incredible bouldering area that for years hosted the Phoenix Bouldering Competition. Proposed mining will shut down area in the near future. The Trump administration recently issued an executive order to transfer Oak Flat to a subsidiary of Rio Tinto mining, which could result in losing over 600 boulders and many routes in Arizona. As things stand, the land will likely be transferred this summer.
