Granite Buttress West Flank
Description
[Edit]Small, granite wall past the main Granite Buttress area. Has a selection of trad, mixed, and potentially a sport climb or two. Climbs on the left end are relatively short, while rightward climbs gradually get taller.
Location
[Edit]Park at Bruce's Parking Area, cross the road, and take the trail across the bridge. After the bridge, take the trail left, and continue along it until you pass the nose of the cliff band to your right, the Granite Buttress. Look uphill and to the left to identify a wedge of cliff with a dead tree atop its far left end, the West Flank.
There does not appear to be any established trail up to the cliff. Bushwhack your way up through the boulder field, past some lower cliff faces, and eventually to the base of the crag itself.
