An easy start brings you to the tricky dihedral crux with jugs above to the anchor

A short route characterized by one big move off the ground and some delicate moves up top. 
  
 Crux is either right off the ground or up high (or both).

To the left of the main Circus Wall, there is a narrow corridor that eventually leads to The Main Event/The Big Show walls.  This is where the climb starts. <br />  <br /> It is to the left of In the Black (5.11a) (don't confuse the two, as In the Black has a larger roof at the start), Boy Pie (5.8), and Pig Farm (5.10a).

Funky and sustained. Lots of movement for a short climb.

Below the Big Show
4 bolts

This route climbs the face left of the slanting chimney.  Straightforward and unremarkable until the crux, which is perplexing.  Staying left of the arete requires some tricky moves on delicate feet.  Going right into the groove looks more secure but lacks style and could be a questionable fall.

Bolts.

The classic route on the Circus Wall. Climb up and right above the lip of a roof on good holds, then make some strenous pumpy moves up to a good shake out. A final heartbreaker crux just before the chains provides a sting in the tail.

Just left of 'The Down System' on the right side of The Circus Wall. Starts just right of the small roof feature.

Perma draw extension to either Neutered Bovine or Face the Music.  Continue up and right towards The Fleeing Heifer's anchors, then continue up to the higher chains.

The top does get wet in the rain.

The direct extension to The Fleeing Heifer. From the chains, continue up and slightly right to a funky dihedral and continue all the way to the top of the cliff. Adds a pump factor to the more power endurance oriented climbing of Heifer.

Can also be approached via Cut to the Chase just as directly, or traversing in from Face the Music or The Neutered Bovine for a lower difficulty.

Direct extension to The Neutered Bovine. From the chains, continue straight up into the obvious black streak headwall for three bolts of difficult climbing with some big moves on positive edges. Finish on The Wayward Bovine.

 Flakes, blocks and jugs. Easy, particularly good warm-up for beginners since there's a general lack of decent easy routes in Chek. Big holds, really big, but still pumpy for the grade.  
  
 Not a good lead if it's your max...it's a bit of traverse and a slip at the wrong place could be an ugly fall into sharp blocks.

Bottom Feeder is the leftmost line of cable draws at the Circus.  This route is thin and techy and demands a different style than Fleeing Heifer.  They complement each other nicely.  The route starts with cool stemming movement and builds a tricky midroute crux.  Stout moves and a good shake lead to the chains.  Good clean fun.

Fixed cable draws

Really short, but not obvious. Quite thoughtful and interesting, worth doing once.

It's the furthest left (South) route at The Circus.
Three bolts, chains at the top.

Start up the Fleeing Heifer, but at the third bolt switch right to finish on The Down System

Go straight up on sidepulls and underclings. Shares anchors with Heifer.

6 bolts

Start with the third bolt pre clipped and pull a burly boulder problem up to the lip of the small roof feature. Easier but sustained climbing, with big pulls on decent holds leads to a nasty 12d/13a redpoint crux before the last bolt. 
 Super cool bouldery moves!

The first route at the Circus. Just right of 'Fleeing Heifer'. Starts in the right end of the obvious roof feature.
bolts. first two are more or less to prevent getting sacked by the rope. Start with the third pre-clipped.

Sustained and engaging mid 5.11 climbing lead to a very distinct and cool 2-3 move crux, then more fun 5.11 climbing to the anchor. Crux revolves around your choice of a few different bad holds, including a sloper that cooler temps would greatly improve. Overall a very worthwhile route that should go down right away once you figure out the crux.

You climb somewhat above boy pie so take care not to fall on anyone if you whip on one of the 5.11 cruxes.

Stays dry in rain for a while, but if its pouring finish will start to get wet and eventually the crux.

Climb Boy Pie but then climb much harder rock to finish below a large roof.
